PRINTSIDE - new exhibition of printmaker's work at the Bond Gallery
Today members of Birmingham Printmakers put up an exhibition at the Bond cafe Gallery. The exhibition opens tomorrow on the 22nd October and will run to the middle of January. Much of the work reflects the gallery's setting by the canal side. Paul Hirst, artist in residence at the Bond, curated the exhibition. His selection is varied, with traditional and less traditional techniques sitting along side each other. The work has a strong affinity with the space and offers a little more interaction perhaps than you would see with a traditional gallery space. The exhibition is located at 180 - 182 Fazeley Street, Digbeth in the cafe area of the Bond. It is a great place to take a break and spend some time looking at the work. More info on the work and exhibition to follow.
