No Glue Needed artists' book workshop

Simon Goode returns to Birmingham Printmakers for a one day workshop which will offer more creative ideas for creating artists' books.

'Hello,

I will be running a one-day workshop in non-adhesive bookbinding at Birmingham Printmakers on Saturday 11 December 2011, 10am - 4pm.

We will be learning how to make two different bindings: the Coptic stitch which originated around 200BC, and a range of Japanese stab bindings. We will also discuss how the bindings can be adapted to our individual needs: to hold prints, to develop into artists' books, and so on.

The course fee is £45 for the day, or £40 for members of Birmingham Printmakers and students.

If you wish to book a place please email me. There is a limited number of places, so please let me know as soon as you can.

Best wishes,

Simon.'
