Girls Who Draw invite you to their
Magic Show
4th April-11th June 2011
G1 Main Exhibition Space at Solihull Arts Complex

Magic Show is an exhibition of new art work created especially for Solihull Gallery
by Girls Who Draw, a group of women illustrators. They have printed, painted,
paper-cut, stitched and conjured up an array of unusual creations ranging from
large scale installations to small hand sewn characters.


Exhibition and Magic Book Launch Event Thurs 7th April, 6.15-7.30pm.
Meet the illustrators and join us to celebrate the Magic Show exhibition and new
limited edition Magic book at this free event. Exhibitors will have other publications and artwork
on sale and there will be a chance to win goodie bags.

Illustrator’s Afternoon Tea Thurs 14th April 3.45-8pm.

Illustration at Allsorts Art Fair Sat 4th June, 10am-3.30pm.
This Spring Allsorts Art Fair has a special illustrator area offering live
drawing, interactive events and a chance to buy work and meet some
of the Magic Show exhibitors. Entry is free.

Admission free. Disabled access.

We welcome groups/schools to visit the Gallery spaces at any time, please contact us to discuss any requirements.

Driving: We are based on the top floor of the Solihull Central Library and Arts Complex building in Library Square, just next to the Touchwood shopping centre. Parking is available at Touchwood and at numerous signposted car parks.

Public Transport: Solihull train station is a ten minute walk away, with regular connections to Birmingham and further afield. There are regular buses to Solihull and Touchwood incuding buses number 6 and 37 from Birmingham city centre.
